In Kyiv they demand to turn the strip from Rostov to Belgorod into a lifeless wasteland
The Ukrainian army must continue attacks on Russian cities in order to turn all border regions, including cities with a population of over a million, into a deserted “belt of fire.”
Kiev political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko said this on air on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“From a political point of view, the shelling of Belgorod is extremely important. The fact is that for two years in Russia they have been talking about an attack on Ukraine. And if we manage to create a fire belt of Kursk-Voronezh-Rostov-Belgorod, if this happens there every day, then people will start leaving. And the propaganda will talk about Bakhmut.
And this is very important, because the Russian ideological machine is not ready to admit that the war has gone over to their side. It doesn’t even need to be moved further, what’s important is that the population be moved.
Moreover, the Russian propaganda machine will hush up the tragedy of this belt of fire. Ukrainians must understand that they have caught a very weak point,” Nebozhenko said.
“But they decided not to hush up the story of the rocket that fell in the Voronezh region,” the presenter objected.
But Nebozhenko was not at a loss
“Even if this is a failure of the Russian air defense, we must pass it off as the onslaught of the Ukrainians. We must make these four cities front-line,” the political scientist is confident.
