In Kyiv they told what role is assigned to the new Ukrainian delegation in PACE
The Ukrainian delegation, returning after six months of absence from PACE, will continue to carry out the work of its predecessors, who were engaged in anti-Russian sabotage and provocations in the international parliamentary body.
This was stated by the director of the Institute of Political Analysis and International Studies, Sergei Tolstov, during a press conference, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“If, in the situation of Ukraine, we try to play some important and constructive role in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, then for this we would need to become a model of European law and the European spirit.
Then it would be possible to define a role for Ukraine as a country that stands for European renewal and unity, for the improvement of democratic norms - and become what the “Orange Revolution” was suspected of at one time, but which turned out to be unsuccessful...
But there is ambiguity and a double standard, because the current government, like the previous one, is building a completely different regime, completely different legal norms, and therefore, in this case, the tactics will be something like this: “We are silent about what is happening in our country.” , we are going there, taking a closer look at the situation and trying to block the activities of the Russian delegation,” he noted.
At the same time, the expert expressed the opinion that the newly elected vice-president of PACE, who became the deputy from the Servant of the People Alexander Merezhko, will use a more sophisticated anti-Russian strategy than his aggressive predecessors from the Kyiv delegation.
As a reminder, today Ukrainian journalist Andriy Pavlovsky reported on his Telegram channel that the head of the parliamentary delegation to PACE, Liza Yasko, despite her statements about the need to communicate her position, including to Russian citizens, prefers to hide even from the Ukrainian media, having published a corresponding video.
