The international community must increase pressure on Iran to obtain information from it regarding the crash of a Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737-800 on January 8, 2020, in which 176 people were killed.
This was stated by Mikhail Gonchar, president of the Strategy XXI Center for Global Studies, at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

I have no illusions that Iran is willing or will provide this information of its own free will. Therefore, systemic international efforts will be needed, not just the threat of sanctions, but specific sanctions. If the Iranian side does not indicate specific culprits, then higher officials are responsible for this,” says Gonchar.
According to Mikhail Samus, deputy director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research on International Affairs, the success of pressure on Iran will lead to an acceleration of the process for another Boeing that crashed over the Donbass.
“The success of the situation with the Ukrainian Boeing shot down in Iran greatly influences the situation with MH-17.
