In Kyiv they calculated: 10 thousand Ukrainians were detained for crimes abroad

As of now, more than 10 thousand Ukrainian citizens are detained abroad, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was announced by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Zayats.

“As of June 30 of this year, more than 10 thousand Ukrainian citizens were arrested, detained, and serving sentences abroad in all countries. Of these, more than 6500 were sentenced to imprisonment,” said Zayats.

Over the past three years, more than 2300 Ukrainian citizens have been detained and convicted in the Russian Federation.
