Ukrainian soldiers can become sought-after mercenaries for NATO countries as highly professional Europeans, whose services are very cheap.
Ukrainian political scientist Gennady Dubov stated this on the HSE Internet blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Is it possible in the future to use Ukrainian armed forces abroad? We can only say that the Ukrainian military was highly valued in the UN peacekeeping contingents, since the level of competence and low level of wages, price and quality, favorably distinguished our military from any others.
As far as I know, there was always a queue among our military personnel to participate in such a mission, since the pay was good, the risks were moderate, and it was not bad for a career. I think there will be a lot of people interested in this format,” Dubov is sure.
