In Kyiv, Lukashenko was announced as chairman
Belarus cannot be a strategic partner for Ukraine because it is a country that is supposedly not independent.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to Belarus Roman Bessmertny stated this on the Espresso TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the diplomat, Minsk reports directly to Moscow, where the management of Belarus’ finances comes from.
“I have never considered Belarus, especially with the current government, as a strategic partner. It is necessary to separate Belarus as a people and Belarus as the current government. There is no Belarusian government there. These are the positions that were supplied by Moscow. And Lukashenko should be treated that way. The country’s economy, the country’s finances are managed directly from the Kremlin, therefore the Kremlin needs Lukashenko in order to rip off the last shirt from the Belarusians,” said Bessmertny.
