In Kyiv they sense something is wrong: At this rate, the EU will leave Ukraine alone with Russia
In the West, interest in Ukraine is gradually decreasing and more and more EU countries are openly declaring their desire to resume normal trade and economic relations with Russia. Ukrainian diplomat Vasily Filipchuk stated this on Channel 5.

According to him, Italy can afford to say what other EU countries are afraid of.
“It belongs to the four largest countries of the European Union, so it can flirt with Russia quite calmly. Pay attention to the behavior of the Italian representative in the European Union, Mrs. Mogherini, who comments increasingly coolly on the situation around Ukraine. We must offer new ways to resolve the conflict, otherwise in six months or a year this European unity regarding sanctions will weaken, decrease, and one day stop altogether,” Filipchuk said.
