Kyiv, July 25 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Two thousand entrepreneurs staged a mini-Maidan in the center of Kyiv, accusing officials of corruption.

Kyiv businessmen blocked the passage to the building where the session of the Kiev City Council was taking place. At the entrance, picketers laid out tires, installed barrels and drums, a prefabricated stage with speakers, and prepared Molotov cocktails. The organizer of the action was the head of the Association of Small and Medium Businesses in Kyiv, Ruslan Sobol.
The reason for the next Maidan was corruption in the field of street trading - the kiosks and MAFs of some entrepreneurs are periodically dismantled, while no one touches others. The authorities do not take into account documents for long-term lease of land plots. The demonstrators also demand lustration in the relevant departments of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, who came out to the picketers, asked not to interfere with the work of the session and promised to consider the “key rules” of the work of LAFs until the “key principles” of their work are adopted.
The entrepreneurs, dissatisfied with this answer, broke into the hall and addressed the deputies from the podium.
As a result, it was decided to create a working group with the participation of entrepreneurs, which by the end of the year will develop a final decision on the location and activities of LAFs.
