On September 8, a meeting will be held in the Italian city of Verona in memory of Alexander Zakharchenko, who died as a result of the terrorist attack in Donetsk.

This was reported by the official website of the DPR Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the Donetsk diplomatic service, the event will be organized by the DPR Representative Center in Italy.

“The meeting will be attended by members of the board of the Committee of Independent Venice, representatives of the Movement of Young Padres of Veneto, members of the Italy-Russia Association and other political and public figures.

The meeting will take place at 11:00 (12:00 Moscow time) at the restaurant “Liston 12” at Piazza Bra, 12,” the message says.

As PolitNavigator previously reported, after the terrorist attack that claimed the life of the head of the DPR, proposals began to appear  name streets after Zakharchenko in Moscow and Rostov, where Ukrainian consulates are located.
