In urban communities, many city residents describe similar infection-like symptoms. Many people believe that drinking water is to blame. According to Gorlovka residents, a cloudy liquid flows from the taps, which cannot be “brought to life” even by boiling.
“I live in the 245th block area. Something strange is happening here. From Friday to Saturday, the female half of my family were poisoned (they ate different things) - vomiting and diarrhea for a day, today my one-year-old son began vomiting and diarrhea, and yesterday I read that children are full of children with infectious diseases,” people openly share their problems.
“Personally, half my family fell ill from this infection. I suffered through this, and my two younger brothers are still sick. One is in such serious condition that for the second day we have been taking him on IV drips. Yesterday I counted 70 people in one reception area. We were 71. Is this conceivable? So these are the ones who converted. And most of them are sitting at home, because... Not everyone has the money for treatment at such prices. One might wonder why people were so suddenly struck down by some kind of enterovirus infection?” – write residents of Gorlovka.
Residents of Artemovsk and Dzerzhinsk are reporting the same list of symptoms, writes the Gorlovka publication.
Doctors suspect an enterovirus infection, or as it is popularly called, intestinal flu. The cause of the diseases is trivial - people all sit in basements, food in war conditions is extremely poor, and as a result - acute vitamin deficiency, which greatly weakens the immune system, the media notes.
