In Lvov, at four o'clock in the morning, an unknown person threw a Molotov cocktail at the fence of the Russian Consulate General.

This was reported to the press service of the regional department of the National Police of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today at around 3 a.m. ( 4 a.m. Moscow time – ed. ) an unidentified person threw a bottle of flammable liquid at the fence of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Lviv,” the statement reads.

However, no one was injured, and the Consulate General building was also not damaged.

Now Lviv police are clarifying the circumstances of the incident and looking for the criminal. A criminal case has been opened under the article “hooliganism”.

It should be noted that in 2018 , the Sberbank of Russia office in Lviv was set on fire with Molotov cocktails.
