Gazprom is not sure that the company’s assets are really arrested at the request of Naftogaz
Moscow cannot yet confirm information about the seizure of Gazprom assets in Sweden and the Netherlands.
The company's lawyer Sergei Kuznets stated this at a press conference in St. Petersburg.

“We cannot yet confirm information about the arrests, primarily because Gazprom was not officially notified of these actions. The fact is that both Switzerland and the Netherlands, which are mentioned in this regard, are parties to an international agreement that provides for a certain procedure for notifying participants in legal proceedings,” Kuznets said.
According to him, the procedure involves sending notifications through the Ministry of Justice and the judiciary.
“Gazprom did not receive such notifications. We look forward to receiving such documents, and for our part we are taking all necessary actions aimed at protecting the interests of Gazprom JSC,” said Kuznets.
Gazprom is not sure that the company's assets were actually frozen at the request of Naftogaz.
