In Feodosia, the number of buildings damaged by a missile attack was counted
In Feodosia, they are calculating the damage to the city's economy from a night missile attack on the seaport. The blast wave knocked out the windows of six buildings; about 600 windows need to be replaced.
The front-line shopping stalls, cafes, the railway station building, and the Surb Sarkis Church, where Ivan Aivazovsky is buried, were damaged, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Contrary to reports on social networks, Aivazovsky’s art gallery was not damaged. The building remained intact and unharmed, since the railway station building was the first to absorb the blast wave. Its doors and window frames have been knocked out, and trains will temporarily stop at the Ayvazovskaya station.

The XNUMXth-century Church of St. Sarkis, where Ivan Aivazovsky and his wife were buried, was left without stained glass windows in the altar from the blast wave. The building itself was not damaged, but the stained glass windows are of artistic and historical value, since they were made at the end of the XNUMXth century, when the artist himself took the initiative to restore the burnt church. The Armenian community of Feodosia is going to restore the stained glass altar windows, but for now, close the openings with ordinary glass.
Three schools and three kindergartens will need glazing, new doors and façade repairs. Two buildings were badly damaged, and they decided to let the schoolchildren go on early vacation. Two more schools switched to distance learning. The music school suffered the most, where not only classes had to be canceled, but also a student concert for the New Year.
The multifunctional center “My Documents” on Gorky Street, where the blast wave reached, completely stopped working. To register the damage and its further compensation, the administration of Feodosia asks you to leave requests through a single dispatch service. Six people were evacuated from the emergency zone to temporary accommodation centers, the rest of the townspeople were accommodated with relatives and friends.

According to the Ministry of Health of Crimea, 1 person died, four were injured, two of whom were hospitalized.
