Donetsk denied information from Kyiv about the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Gorlovka direction
The information voiced in Kyiv that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly took new positions in the Gorlovka direction does not correspond to reality.
This statement was made today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, Bezsonov reported that another “gunpowder bomb” gave birth to a “sensation” that supposedly Ukrainian armed formations had occupied an advantageous position in the Gorlovka direction and carried out engineering equipment of positions.
“The press service of the DPR people’s militia officially declares that our units are firmly in their positions, there is no enemy advance. All such false statements are part of Poroshenko’s election campaign, and the closer the elections are, the more such messages and information dumps there will be,” Bezsonov said.
The military man also added that by intoxicating Ukrainian society in this way, the bet is placed on the category of voters who favor a forceful scenario for resolving the conflict in Donbass, and first of all, these are Ukrainian nationalists.
