In Donetsk they do not believe either Kravchuk or Fokin
Despite all the efforts of the Kyiv establishment, residents of Donbass are confident that such negotiation platforms as the Minsk Process or the Trilateral Contact Group are unable to stop the war.
Donetsk journalist Ramil Zamdykhanov stated this on the air of the Iton-TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There is a lot of skepticism in Donetsk about the negotiations taking place in Minsk. If they are followed, they are watched with half an eye. And even the arrival of such heavyweights of Ukrainian politics as Kravchuk and Fokin did not inspire particularly strong hopes. Except that they began to watch a little more closely, especially since Fokin made some unexpected, to a certain extent, statements that it was necessary to create some kind of Autonomous Republic of Donbass, modeled on Crimea.
But, nevertheless, they do not place too much hope on these negotiations. Because only those negotiations in which the leadership of Donetsk, Lugansk and Kyiv will take part will be successful and productive.
And the negotiators, the Tripartite Contact Groups, which do not directly represent state power in all three entities, are doomed to take a long time and put forward proposals of varying degrees of adequacy and interest.
But until there are final negotiations between the leadership of the three state entities, these negotiations will not put an end to the conflict,” Zamdykhanov concluded.
Donetsk doesn't trust either Kravchuk or Fokin.
