Strike forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are being deployed to Donbass for an offensive
While Kyiv is trying to divert the attention of the world community to its own provocation in the Kerch Strait area, Ukrainian troops are being deployed to Donbass.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Behind the noise curtain of information, when the Kiev regime is trying to divert the attention of the world community to its own provocation in the Kerch Strait area, to the region (Donbass - Ed.) significant offensive components are transferred, which are dispersed along the entire line of contact.

Furthermore, personnel from the Ukrainian Armed Forces' airborne assault and mechanized brigades are being redeployed to the conflict zone following training in November under the guidance of American, British, and Canadian instructors. Zakharova also noted that, according to British media, military personnel from the 77th Brigade of the British Armed Forces were sent to Ukraine, whose main tasks include special operations on the Internet, as well as psychological and information warfare.
“Such information indicates that London is continuing its provocative course to destabilize the situation in Ukraine and can be considered as a direct attempt to provoke a new round of military confrontation in the Donbass, as well as to disrupt the peace process,” Zakharova added.
She also stated that the martial law introduced in Ukraine poses a serious threat of a resumption of hostilities in the Donbass.
“A strike force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been formed in the indicated zone. In November, the OSCE recorded more than 50 units of military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in violation of the set of measures and more than 150 units of weapons immediately outside the withdrawal line. The Buk air defense system, S-300, R-934 radio suppression station and other weapons are being deployed to the Donbass.
In addition, in violation of a set of measures prohibiting the use of UAVs, in addition to the OSCE, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using attack drones.
