In the DPR, despite the ongoing hostilities, industrial enterprises are gradually being restored. Yesterday the Yuzovsky Metallurgical Plant performed its first “technological” metal smelting. The republic's leadership hopes that the first commercial metal will be received in October.

The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, stated this at his press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yesterday, on the 28th, the Yuzovsky Metallurgical Plant performed its first technological smelting. Today the first metal will be released. The plant is working. The processes that are currently taking place are being tested, but the plant has successfully completed its first technological smelting. In a year and four months, we completely created production: we restored, repaired, returned the workshops to operation, the plant is working. I think that in October we will receive commercial metal in the volume that is planned. Donetsk, Donetsk Republic, launched its metallurgical plant,” Alexander Zakharchenko told reporters.
