In the next two years, 50 thousand doctors will leave Ukraine

Due to low salaries, medical workers are leaving Ukraine en masse.
The head of the parliamentary committee on health issues, Olha Bogomolets, announced this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and committee chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Today the government is pursuing an absolutely shameful policy towards the medical community. 70 thousand doctors have already gone abroad and we expect in the next two years the loss of another 50 thousand Ukrainian doctors, who today receive a salary of 3200 UAH - a doctor, a nurse and an orderly,” she said.
