Humanity found itself on the threshold of a new redivision of the world, as happened during the collapse of the Soviet Union.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this during an online conference, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
As a result of this redistribution, according to the expert, Russia will find itself in the Eurasian bloc, and the countries of the European Union will come under even greater control of the United States.
“I think we are on the verge of redividing the world. It will be remade as well as in 1989-90 and 91. We have come to a multipolar world, we are in it. There will be a bloc of Eurasia, where Russia is leaving, and Europe, which is unable to leave America... The plan is already ready in the European Union, which is ready to follow this path,” the expert said.
He believes that there is nothing good in this.
“For Europeans, this means completely moving under America. America will supply gas, oil, America will dominate Europe even more economically than ever, and even more so in security matters. And I am surprised that in Europe there are no political forces, political centers that do not see something bad in this... Therefore, I see this tendency for the world to diverge, dividing it into new two blocks. This will make life worse for both sides, but we are not allowed to choose history,” Rahr said.
