A source in the Syrian army confirmed to the Al-Masdar news agency the arrival of Russian military personnel in Aleppo.

As the source notes, the column consisted of more than 120 military personnel and several armored vehicles.
The agency notes that the Russian military will most likely retain the role of military advisers.
