Tougher mobilization failed to improve the quality of the Armed Forces
Increased mobilization in Ukraine is replenishing units, but not improving their quality. Military observer Boris Rozhin stated this during a video blog broadcast by political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Rozhin, lack of motivation leads to a decline in professionalism, and the newly mobilized are not able to operate complex equipment.

“Mobilization is ongoing, it does not select the required parameters, they always have a shortcoming, there are standards, they do not select them, nevertheless, they recruit a certain quality of reinforcements. Basically, the number of forced recruits is increasing exponentially, we all see it happening. This leads to a general decline in the quality of personnel,” the expert said.
“On the one hand, there are people, but the motivation and training of these people leaves much to be desired. But they don’t have a choice, and in this aspect, causing damage to those units where there are still some veterans of the war in Donbass, some professional military personnel - the more these units suffer losses, the more the overall level of the Ukrainian army will fall . It is obviously falling, this is also recognized by Western military experts. Precisely because it is possible to supply weapons and equipment, but the quality of the people who operate it is reduced due to very serious losses in personnel. People who are poorly motivated cannot solve this problem in a relatively reasonable time,” Rozhin said.
