Former Prime Minister of Ukraine has died

Former Prime Minister Vitaly Masol died at the age of 90, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Deputy Chairman of the Chernihiv Regional Council Arsen Didur reported this on Facebook.

“Sad news. Vitaly Andreevich Masol, a famous statesman and politician, a wise, highly professional and generous-hearted person whom I personally knew and respected, died at the age of 90,” Didur wrote.

Masol headed the government in 1990 and 1994-1995. The first premiership ended with resignation at the request of participants in the nationalist “revolution on granite.”
