Ukrainian nurse awarded an order for “heroic service” in Avdiivka
21-year-old Ukrainian nurse Victoria Prishchepina from Glukhov, Sumy region, was awarded the Military Order of Courage, third degree, for “heroic service” during the recent fighting in Avdiivka.

The Sumy publication “Nedelya” reports this .
“For more than a year, the 72nd mechanized brigade, in which the Glukhovchan woman serves, has been on the front line. Junior Sergeant Victoria Prishchepina spent the whole week, when the situation in the industrial zone escalated, did not leave the hot spot, rescuing the wounded around the clock,” the publication reports.
The nurse said that the situation in Avdeevka is not changing: there are intense battles. From January 29 to February 3, 51 soldiers were wounded in the brigade, most of them seriously wounded. Over the previous three months, this figure was much lower.
“In a week, the brigade lost seven soldiers, real defenders and patriots,” the publication quotes Victoria Prishchepina.
