“During scheduled work to illuminate the underwater and surface situation, a helicopter of the Naval Aviation Brigade discovered a coast guard ship of the FSB of Russia, collecting intelligence data, at a distance of about 10 nautical miles.
After several flights over the anchorage area, naval aviators forced the crew of the Russian ship to move away from the Ukrainian coast to an appropriate distance.
This event took place in close cooperation between units of the Naval Forces and artillery and infantry units that hold defense on the coast,” the statement says.
