Ukrainian soldier received 6 months of disbat for a protest rally near the Poroshenko administration
Kyiv, January 15 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Puras) – The Vyshgorod district court of the Kiev region sentenced to 6 months of disbat a conscript, who on October 13 participated in a protest near the presidential administration demanding legal demobilization due to the expiration of his term of service.

The court found out that the day before the soldier was appointed as an orderly and guarded the armory room. He went to the protest rally with his colleagues in an armored vehicle without completing his duty.
The actions of the orderly who left his post from 11:00 to 17:00 were qualified by the military prosecutor's office as a refusal to perform duties under Part 2 of Article 409 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The remaining participants in this protest got off with minor penalties.
Surely now this soldier will understand that only idlers can “run the Maidan” with impunity in Ukraine.
