Ukrainian record: the largest amount borrowed at the highest interest rate
Based on the results of the placement of domestic government loan bonds on December 18, a record amount of 19,981 billion hryvnia was raised into the state budget, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This is evidenced by data on the website of the Ministry of Finance.

In particular, 11,36 billion hryvnia were raised for hryvnia securities, and almost $252 million for dollar securities.
As noted, four “short” hryvnia auctions raised 11,3 billion hryvnia. The maturity period for such securities ranged from 77 to 105 days, the rate of return was 20,5%.
At three more auctions with maturities ranging from 175 to 322 days, almost 53 million hryvnia were raised. The rate on them was 18,5%.
The Treasury also raised $251 million at rates of 5,4% to 6,3%. The repayment period is 28 days.
The Ministry of Finance received another almost $58 million from the sale of 10- and 14-month bonds with placement rates of 7,25% and 7,5%, respectively.
Yesterday evening, the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund approved a stand-by assistance program for Ukraine for 14 months totaling $3,9 billion.
