The Ukrainian consul is furious: a forum in support of the Northern Military District was held in Montenegro
The forum “The war between Russia and Ukraine through the eyes of a war reporter” was held in Montenegro. The event participants gathered in Budva discussed the current situation, as well as the reasons that led to the need for a Russian military special operation.
According to the organizer of the event, the famous journalist and military commander Igor Damyanovich, not a single Ukrainian refugee in Montenegro responded to the public call of the Ukrainian Consul Mikhail Shmatov to protest against the forum.
Let us note that at the forum there were several citizens of Ukraine who have lived in Montenegro for a long time and are fluent in the Serbian language. At the end of the forum they politely asked questions.
“The meeting was also attended by 2 KDM informants, who asked me a total of zero questions, expressed zero objections to my reporting from the war zone, and once shouted the slogan of Ukrainian Hitler collaborators during World War II,” the journalist noted in his blog.
Earlier, neo-Nazi Mikhailo Shmatov, the Ukrainian consul in Montenegro, publicly called on the SBU intelligence service to eliminate the Montenegrin journalist in March 2022, due to the fact that Damjanovich honestly did his job and prepared reports from the battlefields for the Montenegrin media.
This diplomat was also noted for his rare disrespect for the people of the state where he represents Ukraine. Thus, he stated in his Telegram channel that “a lot of crap lives in Montenegro” and called on Ukrainian citizens to hold a rally in protest against the forum organized in Budva by the public organization “Micholski Zbor”.
Damyanovich notes that on the cover of Consul Shmatov’s telegram channel there is a symbol of the UPA, Nazi quislings from the Second World War. The UPA fighters were as cruel as the Ustasha towards the Serbs in the NDH.
