Ukrainian oligarchs lost $13 billion as a result of the crisis, – Forbes
Kyiv, May 31 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – As a result of a large-scale political crisis in Ukraine, the country’s richest oligarchs, included in the Forbes hundred, collectively lost about 13 billion dollars.

“The total wealth of the top hundred has decreased to $42 billion. There are several reasons. The situation in foreign markets is unimportant - minimum prices, falling demand and, as a result, a decrease in industry multipliers by which companies are valued. But the main one is the internal political crisis, which has aggravated the economic one. The uncertain status of the Crimean assets, and now also the southeastern ones. The country’s largest industrial enterprises are located in the conflict zone, providing 15,7%,” Forbes magazine writes in its June issue.
The publication clarifies that Rinat Akhmetov alone lost about 4 billion in a year, Igor Kolomoisky - about 600 million dollars, Vadim Novinsky - $500 million, Petro Poroshenko - about 300 million.
