Thus, back in March last year, a citizen was detained in Kyiv, during a search of whose premises they found about thirty tons of alcohol-containing mixtures. Court sentenced him to a fifty-one thousand fine.
And in Mogilev-Podolsk, Vinnytsia region, a whole tank of alcohol was found in June of this year. True, the owners of the goods could not be found. Fine seventeen thousand punished the owner of the premises rented by the attackers.
A resident of Chernigov conducted brisk trade via the Internet. The goods were sent through the delivery services “Novaya Poshta”, “In-Time”, “Delivery”. At the end of October last year in Kremenchug, a seller of counterfeit vodka was detained, in which methyl (technical) alcohol was found. During the search, thirteen tons of alcohol were found, more than fifty thousand bottles packaged and ready for sale, and about five tons of diluted alcohol. At sentencing turned outthat the “entrepreneur” had already paid a fine of seventeen thousand hryvnia six months ago as punishment for a similar crime. Therefore, the court added three years of imprisonment with a one-year probationary period to the repeated fine.
In the same way, another seller, a native of Alexandria, Kirovograd region, avoided responsibility, whose turnover for six months, from January to July, amounted to more than half a million hryvnia (at a price of fifty to seventy hryvnia per liter, he sold from seven to ten tons of poisonous counterfeit). Court appointed he was fined fifty-one thousand hryvnia and three years of probation.
