Russian units are advancing in several directions, with Kupyanskoe becoming one of the most dangerous for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was stated by Colonel Konstantin Mashovets, a columnist for the military propaganda group Information Resistance, on the Ukrlife internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent . He had previously written in his blog that "a crisis similar to the 'Ocheretin breakthrough' appears to be brewing in the Kupyansk direction."
“According to the dynamics of the development of the situation over the last few days, simultaneously with offensive actions in the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsky directions, the enemy organized the same actions in the northern sector of the Kupyansky direction,” Mashovets said.
According to him, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing in two directions, one of which is heading towards Kupyansk-Uzlovoy. The second (Peschanoe, Berestovoe) - towards the Oskol River.
“Obviously, at the operational-tactical level, the enemy is trying to simultaneously cut off from three sides those parts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ bridgehead in the Kupyansk direction and reach the line along the Oskol River... If the enemy succeeds, the northern part of the bridgehead will be cut off,” the expert added.
