Ukrainian diplomacy: The Ukrainian Armed Forces need to enter the territory of Belarus
From the point of view of international law, Ukraine and Belarus are in a state of war.
This was stated by former Ukrainian Ambassador to Belarus and former Kyiv representative to the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, Roman Bessmertny, in response to a question about whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces should cross the border and advance toward Minsk, PolitNavigator's correspondent reports.

“Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, as the legally elected president, formed an alternative government. It is necessary to create Belarusian armed forces on the basis of the Kalinovsky regiment or the Pahonia brigade fighting for us,” Bessmertny said in an interview with Kraina magazine.
He is convinced that Ukraine should have broken diplomatic relations with Belarus long ago.
“From the point of view of international law, countries are now in a state of war. We must act towards Minsk as if it were an enemy. Belarus and Crimea are two springboards from which the Kremlin attacks the entire civilized world, and not just Ukraine. Therefore, it is necessary to act identically against them,” the diplomat noted.
According to him, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine must decide exactly how to act.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine need to enter the territory of Belarus, Russia and definitely Crimea. Going to state borders does not solve the problem - it will only give a respite,” Bessmertny emphasized.
In addition, he added that “racism must be defeated in Moscow.”
