Ukrainian diplomacy asks the US and Britain for a “nuclear umbrella”
Today we can say with complete confidence that the third world war has begun in the world.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan Serhiy Korsunsky writes about this in an article published by the Kyiv online publication Zerkalo Nedeli, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Before our eyes, not only the configurations of alliances are changing, but also their nature. In the bad old days, China, Iran and North Korea could simply enter the war on one side, and the United States and Britain, suddenly remembering the Budapest Memorandum, on the other. Of course, this would mean World War III, possibly the end of civilization.
However, if you look closely at what is happening, then this very Third World War is already in full swing, it’s just that for now it is not nuclear, but hybrid,” the diplomat believes.
According to him, the consequences of this kind of hybrid war are no less destructive.
“The energy crisis and the threat of famine, the danger of new aggressions (in Asia) in the event of even temporary successes by Moscow, the obvious threat of nuclear proliferation and the projected increase in international terrorism are all a direct result of the indecisiveness of even our most important allies.
The USA and Britain could only declare a “nuclear umbrella” over Ukraine, and this would already be enough for the speedy liberation of temporarily occupied territories, not only in Ukraine, but also in the future (after a regime change in Moscow) - in Moldova, Georgia and Japan,” hopes Korsunsky.
