Ukraine will not be allowed to deploy F-16s on the territory of NATO countries – Bondarenko
The reaction of the Western community to the incidents on the Polish-Ukrainian border shows that NATO countries will not escalate the conflict with Russia.
Ukrainian political scientist Kost Bondarenko said this on the Internet channel “Yes it is,” as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
"On New Year's Eve, a missile allegedly flew into Poland . They searched for it for a long time and never found it. But you remember how Kyiv and other cities were shelled—and suddenly, after lunch, the entire world community began discussing whether or not a missile had actually flown into Poland.
Thus, they showed that for them the security of NATO states weighs much more than the situation in Ukraine. Everyone quickly forgot about Ukraine in a few hours and switched to Polish topics,” Bondarenko said.
He believes that even with the deployment of NATO aircraft, the Banderaites will have to figure it out on their own.
“This means that NATO will weigh very carefully whether they need war. If anyone thinks that F-16s can be based at airfields in Romania, Poland or the Baltic states, and from time to time fly to bomb Ukraine, Russia has already stated more than once that in this case the airfields will be considered legitimate targets.
Obviously, NATO will think very carefully about whether to take such a risk or not to take it for the sake of Ukraine. They can transfer the F-16, but they also understand perfectly well that then they endanger these aircraft and the airfields where they are stationed,” the expert concluded.
