Ukrainians dismantle tanks and sell them to Romanians for scrap
A resident of the Chernivtsi region bought components for armored vehicles in Ukraine via the Internet and tried to transport them to Romania.
Employees of the Chernivtsi customs office of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU) found track tracks - 119 pieces (702,1 kg) and fingers for connecting the tracks - 131 pieces (65,5 kg) in the cargo compartment of a smuggler's minibus from Chernivtsi.
Information about this is posted on the official website of the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
As it turned out, the cargo was not declared and, moreover, was a military product, that is, not subject to export abroad without special permission, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The court decided to fine the smuggler UAH 3.

The relative leniency of the punishment may be explained by the fact that the court considered the tracked tracks from old Soviet equipment not to be military exports, but merely smuggled cargo of scrap metal.
