Ukraine has turned into a country of liars
Although the Ukrainian authorities claim an increase in wages and social benefits, in reality after the Maidan they decreased significantly.
This was stated by economic and political expert Vsevolod Stepanyuk at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In 2013, the national average salary was $400. As a result of “improvements” and increases in 2017, the average salary was $250. The average pension in 2013 was $187; as a result of “improvements” and reforms, which actually reduced the pension calculation by 30%, the pension “increased” to $92.
The country has turned into a country of liars. Everything that the authorities say is not true. I don’t know what kind of PR people and political strategists advise the authorities to say this at press conferences, in interviews, and so on,” Stepanyuk said.
