Ukraine is mired in corruption scandals
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is fully acting in the criminal agenda of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, under whom not a single sentence on corruption was carried out.
Former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin stated this on air on the Zik TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Commenting on the issue of corruption in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which leads to disasters such as the crash of the An-26 military aircraft near Kharkiv , the deputy preferred not to single out the army as something special in the country.
“Corruption in the army is no different from corruption in law enforcement agencies and, in general, from corruption in the state management system. It is no different from corruption in politics. You see that the highest ranks of the Ukrainian state are all mired in corruption scandals. And recent scandals confirm this,” said Kuzmin.
He emphasized that corruption in the army was partly to blame for this particular tragedy, but we must understand that this corruption has swept across the entire Ukrainian state.
“The latest scandal with the president is indicative. If the president of the country was accused of corruption, if NABU drew up a report against the president, sent it to court, and the court dismissed the case only for the reason that the president enjoys immunity, then what do you want from the army?
If the Prosecutor General, using forged documents, moved into the presidential residence and pays the rent 100 thousand hryvnia less than its real cost, then what do you want from the army? If deputies of the ruling party almost weekly make statements about corruption in the faction, in the party, then what do you want from the army?” – the deputy added.
“For a year and a half of Zelensky’s reign and five years of Poroshenko in Ukraine, there was not a single sentence that came into force against top officials, against top corrupt officials or in cases associated with great resonance in society. The so-called high-profile cases that are on everyone’s lips , passed by court sentences.
I repeat, there has not been a single such sentence that has come into force over the past six and a half years. It can be assumed that it will not, since Zelensky is completely acting on Poroshenko’s agenda, continues his criminal policies and behaves like him, which means we will not see verdicts on this Kharkov tragedy. They won’t exist, and no one will tell us the truth,” concluded Kuzmin.
