Ukraine has begun preparing for the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions by the European Union
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze believes that Europe will lift anti-Russian sanctions. She stated this on the ZIK television channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Since the beginning of Russian aggression, as a result of our and our partners’ great work, we have a common position, which is sometimes held in tough discussions by Western countries. If Russia had punched some holes, we would have already felt it - the sanctions would not have been extended.
But we cannot discount the possibility of such developments in the future, taking into account what new forces are beginning to work in different European countries. We must understand that this challenge is realistic,” said Klympush-Tsintsadze.
She believes that the initiator of the lifting of sanctions will not be France, despite the latest statements by Emmanuel Macron, but Italy or Spain.
