Ukraine can blow up the gas transportation system
The fate of the Ukrainian gas transportation system is in the hands of the Americans, who can cut off transit at any time in order to gain access to the European energy market.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Europeans need to understand that the fate of Ukrainian transit is not in the hands of Ukraine, not in the hands of Russia, not in the hands of Europe. It is in US hands.
Because before Nord Stream is completed, Ukraine can stop this transit under the guise of explosions, or under the guise of righteous anger against the aggressor - it doesn’t matter. But the affected party will be Europe. And the Americans must have time to reach this volume with their gas,” Kulikov noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, in March 2014, Kiev millionaire Gennady Balashov called on the Ukrainian authorities to blow up the pipeline through which Russian gas is pumped through the territory of Ukraine to Europe.
“No one will help us, and the only thing we can do is EXPLODE the PIPE in order to cause damage to Gazprom and stop pumping Russian gas through our territory. We must blow up a pipe on the Russian border, mine the rest, and ask the UN to send in troops. Only huge losses of money will stop Putin. Blowing up a gas pipe is the only thing that can be done,” Balashov’s statement said.
After this, a criminal case was opened against Balashov in Russia under the article of extremism.
