“Ukraine is death”: Donbass wants reunification with Russia
The goal of Donbass is reunification with Russia as a full member, integration is already being implemented. The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Donbass must return to its homeland as a full member. I don’t see any other favorable path for Donbass. All that Ukraine gave us, and still gives us today, are shells, destruction, a mass of dead, wounded, and a blockade,” the leader said.
“Donbass today is looking towards Russia. Integration processes are in a fairly intensive phase. Of course, we would like everything to go faster, but we understand that there is a geopolitical subtext, and we understand that our path is more difficult and thorny. But, nevertheless, the goal is clear, and we are moving towards it,” the head of the DPR assured.
Earlier, Russian State Duma deputy Natalia Poklonskaya promised that Donbass would become a full-fledged subject of Russia.
