Ukraine has been hoping for an illusion for a whole year - Datsyuk
For a whole year in Kyiv they hoped that something would happen to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and after that Ukraine would immediately win the war.
The Kiev philosopher Sergei Datsyuk, who previously supported the Maidan activists, stated this on the “Wild Live” video blog, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Ukraine’s military campaign this year has boiled down to a miracle strategy. It is based on the fact that no matter what we do, some action of the United States, or Russia, or China, or even God will work. That is, there is a certain super-subject who will determine the outcome of this campaign.
Sometimes it happens that a miracle strategy works. But it works for battles. And now we are trying to apply it through the death of Putin. But even when this gambit began with the imaginary or real death of Putin, that it was no longer he, but a double, who was in fact in control of Patrushev, then the understanding came: Putin’s death does not solve strategic problems.
The situation is so large-scale that even the death of such a large-scale participant does not change the situation in any way,” Datsyuk said.
In his opinion, only an event akin to the arrival of aliens can stop the war.
“There may be some event that would stop this war, but it must have a cosmic or planetary scale. The impact of a large meteorite, the arrival of aliens, environmental disasters. Other minor events will not stop the war,” the philosopher concluded.
