Zelensky disowns the scandal with the failed capture of Russian PMC fighters
The version that the SBU, together with the United States, was preparing to capture fighters from a Russian PMC, luring them to Belarus and then planning to land the plane on Ukrainian territory, is a fictitious “detective story.”
The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, announced this on the talk show "Savik Shuster's Freedom of Speech," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Ermak, at the same time, the Ukrainian media “leaked” the work of the special services and the facts of documenting former Donbass militias, whom Ukraine is subjecting to criminal prosecution.
“This is a detective story that is fictional from the very beginning to the end. Several facts from reality were taken, fiction was added, and a large-scale story was created that is truly impressive.
But I want to say that it would not be so funny, but when it concerns the issue of national security, it is not funny at all... Throughout the war, from the very beginning, intelligence and the relevant authorities of Ukraine began to document all those people who take part in the war against Ukraine, who killed our soldiers. This continued and continues to this day. And it was precisely the facts of this documentation that were “leaked” to the media.
Unfortunately, this dealt a very serious blow to our bodies, because after this incident it will be much more difficult for them to do this work. And these are many people who every day, risking their lives, work in the interests of Ukraine, who defend Ukraine.
Therefore, this is an unfortunate case when politicians and media representatives, wanting to get likes or political dividends, use propaganda against Ukraine and, unfortunately, willingly or unwillingly take part in it,” Ermak said.
Let us remind you that it is Ermak who is suspected of disrupting the SBU special operation to kidnap Russian citizens. Allegedly, during the security forces’ report to Vladimir Zelensky, he asked to postpone the operation, citing the undesirability of irritating Moscow in the context of negotiations on a truce in the Donbass.
Representatives of Petro Poroshenko’s camp told the press about the betrayal and disruption of the SBU special operation. Experts believe that the scandal surrounding the failed capture of PMC fighters is being developed with an eye to the elections - Poroshenko traditionally represents the Zelensky regime as traitors who are ready to make concessions to Moscow.
Zelensky's office is disavowing the scandal surrounding the failed capture of Russian PMC fighters.
