Tymoshenko threatens to convert to Judaism because of gunpowder
A campaign has been launched in Ukraine to discredit Yulia Tymoshenko, focusing on her Jewish roots.
Corresponding anti-Semitic graffiti appeared in Chernivtsi. The photograph was published by the head of the Jewish Committee of Ukraine, Eduard Dolinsky.
Batkivshchyna deputy Sergei Sobolev commented on the current situation today during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The other day I saw a gunpowder robot’s post on Facebook... After, in fact, the anti-Semitism in the post of this gunpowder robot, which does not come out of his [Poroshenko’s] channels, became state policy, I have a desire to convert to Judaism,” Sobolev said.
It should be noted that earlier political scientist Alexander Paliy declared Petro Poroshenko the only worthy contender for the presidency.
“I respect Jews – they are very wise people. Also, for Russians who are not infected with the imperial virus, it is not easy for them. But I am sure that the President of Ukraine should be a Ukrainian and a Christian. Like the absolute majority of Ukrainians. Therefore, I will not vote for either Tymoshenko or Zelensky. Not for other proteges of foreign oligarchs,” Paliy wrote.
Tymoshenko is threatened with conversion to Judaism because of the Poroshenko bots.
