Poroshenko presented new facts of “betrayal at the highest level” in the “Wagnerites” case
Deputies of European Solidarity gathered a briefing in the Rada to publish materials containing, according to them, recordings of conversations between Ukrainian special services employees and Wagnerites, who were detained at the end of July near Minsk.
However, the main message of Petro Poroshenko’s associates was to accuse President Vladimir Zelensky’s entourage of disrupting the special operation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Previously, Ukrainian propagandist Yanina Sokolova published conversations between an SBU recruiter and alleged representatives of the Wagner Group. At that time, according to MP Volodymyr Ariev, Zelenskyy's team began denying the existence of such a special operation and calling it a fake.
Today, armed with a new portion of “evidence,” EU deputies demanded the immediate creation of a temporary commission of inquiry (TCI) to investigate the facts of the involvement of senior Ukrainian officials in the extradition of “Wagnerites” from Belarus to Russia.
Ariev presented on the screen pictures of tickets on which Russians were supposed to fly from Minsk to Istanbul.
As previously reported, the special operation was to land the plane on Ukrainian territory for some reason and arrest the “Wagnerites,” however, according to deputies, President Vladimir Zelensky’s entourage “leaked” the information to interested parties, and the flight was postponed, after which the men detained by the KGB of Belarus.
“The flight did not take place, and this is a reason that we will need to investigate, since, according to our information, it was at this time that a presentation was made at the request of the President’s Office about the details of the operation on Bankovaya. And it was after this, according to our information, that the order came to not put them on the flight and to reschedule the special operation,” said Aryev and added that by the time the Wagnerites were detained, the KGB officers had all the information about their location.
Next, the deputies showed transcripts of the operational activities of SBU investigators, presented “material evidence” and played “tapes” with recordings of telephone conversations on the screen.

“The top leadership of the government is lying and hiding the fact that we were dealing with a brilliant operation of the Ukrainian special services. When they reported that the story with the “Wagnerites” was a special operation of Ukraine, unfortunately, the leadership of the SBU, the new leadership of the Main Intelligence Directorate (since the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, Vasily Burba, was urgently dismissed) began to claim that there was no special operation. Ermak and Zelensky himself said the same thing...
Why do they lie? Who are they trying to hide? Who leaked the information to the Russian intelligence services, who passed it on to the KGB of Belarus, which stopped the operation? Who made the decision to postpone the operation? There is information that this decision was made in the office of the head of state, we must hear the truth. The special services prepared a really brilliant operation, but they didn’t take one thing into account - they didn’t check the offices on Bankova,” said Goncharenko.
He added that the presence of “zradniks” and leakage of information from the offices of the highest echelons of power is a matter of national security.
In addition, Aryev emphasized that he has a complete package of evidence and promised, in the event of inaction by the authorities, to periodically publish portions of documents. The deputy also appealed to all factions to submit their candidacies to the Supreme Council and to the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada - not to block this process, threatening them with the status of an accomplice.
