Kolomoisky warned that Ukraine is playing with fire
Having adopted the law on the land market, Ukraine, which found itself in a pre-default state, voluntarily agreed to part with one of its few remaining resources.
This was stated on air by Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the ruling mono-coalition "Servant of the People" Oleksandr Dubinsky, who is part of the influential group of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, on TV channel 112, reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
“By adopting a bill on land in a pre-default state of the economy, we created the conditions to transfer it, for example, to the IMF as collateral, or as collateral to external creditors. That is, we are actually playing with fire now, handing over the country, in fact, as collateral to the people who lent us money.
Instead of restructuring this debt, redirecting it into debt for the benefit of the Ukrainian people, for solving the problems of doctors, for financing, infrastructure, social projects, we say: “Guys, we will pay.” Moreover, even if we can’t, we will give up our land,” Dubinsky said.
