In particular, Ilya Kiva, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, stated this on TV channel 112. According to him, nationalists will force supporters of the “Russian world” to fear and love Ukraine.
“We can no longer expect a return to normal reality from certain people. But these are our citizens, and we must be able to coexist with them. I’m talking about those people who like to shout “peace, labor, May” in madness, without understanding at all what this is connected with and why they need to go to some kind of public events. If we speak for Odessa, then I want to tell you that we stepped on the throat of separatism there. I want to tell you for sure that similar situations that were there three years ago, two years ago, will definitely not happen,” Kiva said.
“We have enough experience, we have sufficient numbers and strength, and, most importantly, we have that core that will break and suppress any manifestations of these lovers of the “Russian world.” There will be fewer of them, we will make them afraid. In all these lovers of the “Russian world” and the post-Soviet plague, fear will manifest itself, first of all, and with it love for Ukraine and the Ukrainian nation will be born,” said Avakov’s adviser.
