A saboteur recruited by the SBU told how he installed explosives during the assassination attempt on the legendary commander Arsen Pavlov “Motorola”, and also revealed the details of the terrorist attack in the Separ cafe, which resulted in the death of the head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko.
The video was shown by the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was the security guard’s mistake, because they searched me, but didn’t search the other agent’s bag, there was an IED disguised under the food, and we went up the elevator without hindrance,” a saboteur detained by the Donetsk special services told the details of the assassination attempt on Motorola.
On that day, Donetsk resident Alexander Pogorelov, recruited by Ukraine, together with another SBU agent, easily opened the elevator doors.
“Another agent, Yuri, opened the elevator with special keys for elevator operators, and handed me an explosive device to put on the roof,” recalls Pogorelov.
The device was connected to a camera, the signal from which was sent via the Internet, so that Motorola and the security guard could be seen entering the elevator car.
“The explosion took place from the city of Kyiv via telephone,” said the detainee.
Alexander Pogorelov was recruited voluntarily by the Ukrainian special services. According to him, he was paid 5 thousand dollars for the murder of Motorola, after which he immediately began preparing a new assassination attempt on Alexander Zakharchenko in the Pushkin restaurant.
Pogorelov showed the locations of explosive devices assembled in Kyiv, which could remain in standby mode for several months. However, the DPR special services then discovered the bomb and neutralized it. Another group of saboteurs, according to the bomber, was supposed to plant explosives in the Separatist cafe.
“It works through an antenna for one and a half to two kilometers with an error of houses and ceilings - that is, in fact, it worked without errors. I was told that the explosives were American-made, allocated by American intelligence services,” he said.
According to Pogorelov, there was also a sniper group, with which he chose a place to shoot in an apartment in a multi-story building four hundred meters from the Separ cafe.
“The place is “good”, for a sniper it’s not a distance at all. I think if the sniper had worked, it would definitely be two hundredth,” a DPR security officer commented, looking at the streets of Donetsk from this building.
