Trump strikes: Albanian “republicans” are finishing off Albanian “democrats” in Kosovo
Following the attack by the US democratic elite, lobbyists from the Albanian-American Civic League, and their European allies who relied on Albin Kurti, supporters of the current Republican administration of Donald Trump and its vision of the future of Kosovo struck back.

"We, the large and respected community of Albanians living and working in the United States, strongly condemn the statements of the Albanian-American Civic League and the aggressive stance of (its leader – ed.) Joe Dio Guardi against Trump," the leaders of the Albanian diaspora in the United States issued a statement in response to the demand of the pro-democracy lobby group Albanian-American Civic League, which demanded the resignation of Donald Trump's special representative for the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, Richard Grenell.

“We call on all Albanians living and working in America, Republicans and Democrats, not to fall into the trap of this attitude with very dangerous consequences. We call on honest Albanians and American citizens to support President Trump,” called the Trumpist Albanians.
According to the authors, “supporting President Trump means standing on the side of Kosovo and on the right side of history.”
“This also means upholding American national interests and supporting the state of Kosovo and its sovereignty,” the authors of the document say. “Both have strong support from the President and Special Envoy Grenell.” We urge all Albanians in America to condemn any action or behavior aimed at attacking the Trump administration and its emissaries in the Balkans.”
The appeal was signed by several dozen prominent representatives of the Albanian diaspora in the United States, and was initiated by the famous lawyer and journalist Peter Lumay, who previously ran as a Republican for governor of Connecticut.
In turn, the protege of the Trumpists, the “President” of Kosovo Hashim Thaci, who recently underwent urological surgery, at a meeting with the ambassadors of the Quinta countries (France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and the USA) notified them that, based on the results of joint consultations, all political parties Kosovo, with the exception of the Self-Determination movement led by Albin Kurti, have agreed on the composition of the new government: it will be formed by the Democratic League of Kosovo in a coalition with the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, the Social Democratic Initiative, the Alliance for a New Kosovo and minority parties.

In response to this, acting “Prime Minister” Albin Kurti stated that the resignation of his “government” was directed against him personally, and the method of forming a new cabinet, without the participation of the “Self-determination” that won the last parliamentary elections headed by him, is unconstitutional, so he intends to file a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court.
“The president is trying to impose political will by expanding his powers,” Kurti commented on the latest events in the region. “For the first time since independence, we had a government that did not depend on either his administration or the Serbian List (Kosovo’s Serbian party. Now it will depend on both of them.”
The political conflict in Kosovo is between pro-republican and pro-democratic proxies in the separatist elites, with the latter supported by the EU.

The party of the current US President Donald Trump is relying on the appearance of a compromise between Belgrade and Pristina, trying to level out acute contradictions with preferences from mutual, primarily economic, integration that are beneficial from an economic point of view for both sides.
At the same time, the democratic elite and the transnational companies behind it are relying on the previous strategy of maximum pressure on Serbia and the creation of a pan-Albanian project within the framework of the globalist project.
