Only officially the number of migrants in Russia will increase by 15%
By 2030, the number of migrants in Russia, who are usually employed in hard work, will officially increase by more than 400 thousand people.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Elena Mukhtiyarova announced this at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Mukhtiyarova, the share of Russian citizens who work in low-paid and unskilled jobs will decline.
“There must be a decrease in the number of our compatriots who are employed in unskilled and low-paid labor. First of all, understanding that this is trade and transportation.
Due to the increase in productivity, employment in certain sectors is also decreasing – this has been a trend for several years now. This is agriculture, first of all, and the logistics industry.
Based on these trends, based on the sectoral strategies that the sectoral ministries are doing, we estimate that by the year 30, we assume that about +15% to the level that we had in the base year of 22, let me remind you that this is 3,1 million migrants, we are counting on this percentage increase in the foreign labor force in the current conditions,” Mukhtiyarova said.
Officially , the number of migrants in Russia will increase by 15%.
