Taylor: The Russian Federation is threatening only in words. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive more lethal long-range missiles
The results of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to Washington will be reflected in the Biden administration’s imminent decision on the supply of long-range missiles.
Former US Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor stated this in an interview with the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I think the outcome of this visit will be decisions by the Biden administration, made in consultation with allies, to supply longer-range, more effective, more lethal weapons that will allow the Ukrainians to win.
This should be the end point. If we are seriously talking about these values, about the world where our children and grandchildren will live, then we must provide Ukrainians with the necessary tools. They are not asking us for soldiers. They only ask for weapons, tools to be able to win. That’s what we’re striving for,” Taylor said.
He made it clear that the public justification for these deliveries would be talk of “barbaric” Russian attacks on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, but in reality the reason was Moscow’s indecisiveness.
“Medvedev, Putin, Lavrov, State Duma deputies - they all make new and new statements about what could happen if the West supplies Ukraine with weapons: “Hymars” or “Patriots”, if Ukrainians attack Crimea or Russian territory. The Ukrainians have already done this with their own weapons. They hit military targets.
What do we see from Russia? More statements, more threats every time. I think the Biden administration is discussing this. I know what they are discussing. I think they will supply long-range weapons.
The Ukrainians haven't stopped, and the Americans don't need to stop. We must supply Ukraine with these weapons so that they can win. I never tire of repeating: Ukrainians must win - push the Russian army out of their country. They need our help to do this,” Taylor said.
