“The bastard sits and reads” – Gritsenko complained about Poroshenko’s espionage
Instead of “defending his country,” Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is hiding his son from the army in the Verkhovna Rada and spying on his competitors with the help of intelligence services.
Former Defense Minister and Ukrainian presidential candidate Anatoliy Hrytsenko stated this on the Zik TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"When the country is struggling, it should be struggling for everyone. And high-ranking officials shouldn't be hiding their [ children – ed. ] somewhere. I said this about Pyotr Alekseevich back then. Is his son such a legislator that parliament can't function without him, that they're hiding him there? And let them tell us about Lutsenko [ his son – ed. ], from what date to when, whether he was mobilized for a year. With all due respect, some were there for a few months, others for a year or more. This is also unfair if we're talking about equal law and rights for everyone," Gritsenko noted.
“I know that my phone is tapped all the time. I know that surveillance is constantly on me. We recorded and took photographs of these cars, checked their license plate numbers, they are not registered. Then they broke through through their own channels, and these are the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Security Service. I assume that everything I say and write is being monitored. In the room where I'm sitting, they couldn't hear anything that would make me ashamed, so it doesn't bother me at all.
But the fact that they get into personal matters is already a violation of rights. A person should have space, the phone is personal. Can not be so. I’m writing to my loved ones there, and some bastard is sitting and reading it all. There is the confidentiality of correspondence and everything else, this is protected by the Constitution. And when those who are supposed to protect this, through the “fas” command, are poking around in all this... The President has nothing to do except listen to my or anyone else’s conversations? You are the supreme commander, protect the country. Are they sick of it? So it’s not just me, it’s many,” the ex-Minister of Defense was indignant.
As a reminder, Ukrainian Security Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov previously shamed former Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko for not going to the front when fighting in Donbas began , and only appearing in the region in 2018, and even then, far from the front lines.
